We spent a lot of time in Germany but didn't have time to see all the "tourist traps".

My poor 1973 VW bus did a great job except for what started out as a brake light failure. I had a French dealer change the Brake light switch and they failed to bleed the brakes when done. The wheel cylinder seal blew out killed the brakes and screeched through all of France and Germany. (I changed the brakes on a side street before going to the Alps!)

Germany offered castles, scenery, friendly people, great architecture, last but not least: great food and beer.
